Evan Longoria Should be an All Star , Jason Varitek Should Not
Every year we have an issue with players being left off an all-star team. 2008 is no different, Tampa Bay Rays Rookie 3rd baseman did not get voted in or selected by Terry Francona. He is till eligible to be voted in by fans , but will probably come up short there too.
On the other side of the coin Jason Varitek is an all-star seleceted by the players. How that happened no one can explain. He doesnt throw anyone out , cant hit and makes the team . Regardless it is a fun time of year to watching baseball, including the All -Star Game. Im looking forward to the Home Run Derby
Of course they are going to used Jason Varitek why beacause his coach is BOston Red Sox, is so sad that Evan Longoria will be able to play. rember he was the most value player last month.
Another thing is why Mariano Rivera will not be the closer on his on town and his stadium. Why becasue is a BOston decision.. Went Torre will be general mamager he will let everyone participate.
So we are going to see the BOston Red Sox play again the National LEague.
You know what I hope the National LEague will win!!!!!!!!!!!!!
